Olivia and Kylie have too many nicknames. It's hard to keep track of them. A couple months ago when I had both my sisters with me, and the twins were still really small, we were laying on my futon and decided to combine all their nicknames into one. We must have been sleep deprived (I know I was) because we thought they were hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. So, here they are. (Easter dresses courtesy of Grammy and her amazing smocking skills. I need to learn how to do it. It's a dying art form.)
Olivia = Livy Lou Who Squeaker Peanut McElf Maggie Muffin*Livy Lou Who is from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". Her crazy hair reminded us of Cindy Lou Who, who is no more than two.
*Squeaker = how she sounds when she vocalizes. She's still working on her consonants.
*Peanut = she's so tiny.
*McElf = she looks like an elf. And the "Mc" just rolls off your tongue.
*Maggie = from the Simpsons. She made that same noise with her pacifier.
*Muffin = not sure where this one came from.
Kylie = Kylie Smiley Slobber-Tooth Curly Mellow Blue Bear Button*Kylie Smiley = she's always so happy!
*Slobber-Tooth = she spits up, A LOT!
*Curly = her hair has some curl to it.
*Mellow = she was mellow, which was a godsend when Olivia was going through her colicky phase.
*Blue = her eyes are blue. I hope they stay that way.
*Bear = she's snuggly like a teddy bear.
*Button = Todd calls her "cute as a button" all the time.
So there you have it. The nicknames that are anything but shortened versions of their real names.
