It's a cute movie, although it definitely has a Japanese storyline -- a little weird. Todd and I couldn't help noticing a striking resemblance between Ponyo and Kylie. Even their personalities are similar. I knew there was some Japanese in Kylie somewhere! :)

LOL oh Bri just made me watch this with her and I was like HUH? What was that mother thinking!! Totally weird yes...
My kids loved Ponyo (and I love Miyazaki) so we ended up buying it for Kay's upcoming birthday.
I love Miyazaki, too, but it's an acquired taste. I'm usually not in love with his movies until I've seen them 2 or three times.
